In this ident Channel 4 has gone for a different approach to usual as they have changed it to from a perspective logo ident to a jungle/cave with crystals which help to identify channel 4. As well as this it is a very unique ident and therefore is extremely memorable for the viewers, due to it being a little mysterious viewers may talk about it with their friends and ask if they had seen it creating a bigger audience.

In this ident they have used a range of colors which grabs the attention of the viewers. The colors are being worn by the cyclists which are in a circle formation around the logo, making it stand out and stick in our minds, therefore we remember BBC1, and will be reminded of BBC1 every time we see a cyclist dressed in those particular colors,

In this ident there is an attractive young lady who is placed in a canon, this is a very unique ident as it is entertaining to watch which makes the viewers remember the ident and want to see it again. Due to her being attractive it can appeal to men as well as women as they see her as a powerful woman, as well as that on the canon and the landing mat 'Dave' is in big,bold letters to catch the viewers eye.

In this ident it shows someone cutting open bread in the shape of a 4, once the bread has been opened there is an E in purple, this is possibly suggesting that there's always a surprise in E4 like there was a surprise in the bread and you simply just don't know what to expect. As well as that they have kept the ident short but sweet so is easy to remember.

    One of the aims of this prep is to get closer to understanding what the channel brand is, that is, how it sees itself. That's your next step. You do so with your comments on E4 and are nearly there on Dave.
